ISTQB CTFL Training Course

This is testing fundamentals training, accredited by the Information Systems Quality Association. The aim of the training is to prepare participants for the exam and obtaining the ISTQB® Foundation certificate. The ISTQB® CTFL exam provided by SJSI can be taken on-site or online, in Polish or English, and lasts 60 minutes. and contains 40 single-choice questions. A positive result is achieved after completing 65% of the answers (26 points). The cost of the exam is included in the training price.

After completing the training, the participant will be able to describe the software development process and will know testing techniques and test design principles.

This course has been created for test managers, quality assurance staff, testers, software developers, project managers and management in order to explain how the Agile project management frameworks (notably SCRUM) deal with testing.

At the end of the course, each of the delegates will design and execute a test plan for a sample application (it can be an actual client application if available)

Training is open to both developers, Scrum Masters, Product Owner and also some aspects of the business department. The purpose of training is to introduce topics Quality Assurance and Continuous Integration and their place in projects conducted agile methodologies. Participants will gain a broad perspective on the issues discussed as well as practical knowledge of the tools and processes of software development in line with the QA / CI. Representatives of business, will be able to know the benefits of implementing those tools and processes and translate into both the time and cost of software development. The issues presented are based on PHP or Java, depending on customer requirements.

The User Stories creation workshop is a process in which Agile teams work on defining the functionality of the product from the user's perspective. Creating User Stories is created by a team consisting of various stakeholders (e.g. programmers, designers, business analysts) who focus on the user's needs and goals. User Stories are formulated according to the pattern "As [user type], I want [functionality] to [value, purpose]". User Stories should be understandable, specifically describe functionality, independent of others and provide value to the user. This process of creating User Stories requires team involvement and teamwork skills to generate clear, understandable and valuable descriptions of the product's functionality from the user's perspective.
