What is KFS and who is eligible?

The National Training Fund (KFS) is a dedicated unit within County Labour Offices that finances course costs for employers and their employees. KFS funds are available to companies across Poland. Employers submit applications to the Labour Office relevant to the company’s registered office. KFS funding is available to employees, employers, self-employed individuals, and people working under civil law contracts.

How much funding can you receive?

90%

Of course costs for micro-enterprises employing up to 9 people, up to a maximum of 200% of the average salary per participant per year.

70%

Of course costs for SMEs employing more than 9 people, up to a maximum of 200% of the average salary per participant per year.

PLN 18,000

Based on current data, this is the amount an employer may receive to train one person.

PLN 417,000,000

This is the amount allocated for 2026 by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy to County Labour Offices.

Funding eligibility criteria

Improving management and communication within the company, based on anti-discrimination and anti-mobbing principles, social dialogue development, employee participation, and workplace integration.

Supporting skills and qualification development in professions identified as deficit occupations in a given county or region.

Supporting lifelong learning related to the implementation of new processes, technologies, and work tools, with a particular focus on digital skills, AI, and green skills.

04

Supporting skill and qualification development in healthcare and care services, as well as for members and employees of social cooperatives and social enterprises listed by the Ministry of Family and Social Policy.
