What is the National Training Fund and who is eligible?

The National Training Fund (KFS) is a distinct unit of District Labor Offices that finances training costs for employers and their employees. Funds from the KFS are granted to businesses across Poland. Employers submit applications to the Labor Office responsible based on their company's headquarters location. KFS co-financing is intended for employees, employers, individuals running economic activity, and persons working under civil law contracts.

What is the co-financing amount?

90%

Of training costs for micro-enterprises employing up to 9 employees, but maximum 200% of the average remuneration per participant in a given year.

70%

Of training costs for SMEs employing more than 9 employees, but maximum 200% of the average remuneration per participant in a given year.

18,000 PLN

Based on current data, this is the amount an employer can obtain to train one person.

417,000,000 PLN

This is the amount the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy has allocated for District Labor Offices for the year 2026.

The first call dates will be announced by the District Labor Offices in late January and early February 2026. Exact dates are published on PUP websites three weeks in advance, but it is worth planning needs and preparing to submit an application today.

How to obtain co-financing?

Step 1.

Visit the website of your local Labor Office to check if financial support applications under the KFS program are currently being accepted.

Select employees and choose a training course from the Training Catalog on the NobleProg website.

Fill out the Contact Form so we can review your training needs.

Complete the application with our help! If you need support, our team will guide you through the entire process step by step.

Submit the application to the District Labor Office.

Wait for the decision and sign an agreement with the Labor Office.

Contact your NobleProg coordinator to arrange the training date and organizational details.

Wait for the funds to be disbursed from the Labor Office.

Reconcile the training with the Labor Office based on the course completion certificate, invoice, and payment confirmation.

Co-financing eligibility criteria

Improving management and communication within the company in accordance with anti-discrimination and anti-mobbing rules, promoting social dialogue, employee participation, and fostering workplace integration.

Supporting the development of skills and qualifications in occupations identified as deficit on a given territory, i.e., in the county or voivodeship.

Supporting lifelong learning in connection with the implementation of new processes, technologies, and work tools in companies, with special attention to digital skills, AI, and so-called 'green skills', especially when these factors pose a threat of job loss.

Supporting the development of skills and qualifications necessary in the health and care service sector, as well as supporting the development of skills and qualifications of members or employees of social cooperatives and employees employed in social enterprises listed on the register of social enterprises maintained by the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy (MRPiPS).
