Module 1: Foundations of the Leader's Role

Objective: Building a leader’s identity and reinforcing their sense of role.

  • Introductory Workshop: Challenges and new responsibilities in the leader's role.
  • Working with Values: What values do you want to represent as a leader?
  • Basics of Competency Models: Introduction to competency models as tools for the development of leaders and teams.
  • Elements of Psychological Games: Identifying and avoiding psychological traps in team relationships.
  • Preparing the Leader's Exposé: How to effectively present your vision, goals, and values to the team.

Developmental Outcomes:

  • Participants will identify their key values as leaders.
  • Prepare an initial version of the leader's exposé.
  • Gain awareness of the challenges associated with the leader’s role.

Team Communication

Objective: Enhancing the leader's communication skills.

  • Lecture: Models and styles of leader communication.
  • Practical Exercise: Active listening in difficult conversations.
  • Simulation: Conducting a team meeting – clear information delivery.
  • Feedback: How to respond to employee questions and doubts.

Developmental Outcomes:

Module 2: Difficult Conversations and Negative Feedback

Objective: Developing techniques for conducting challenging conversations.

  • Workshop: Techniques for constructive feedback (SBI, FUKO).
  • Practical Exercise: Scenarios with difficult situations (e.g., unmet tasks, team conflicts).
  • Case Study: Analysis of problematic situations from participants' daily work.
  • Individual Work: Creating conversation plans based on real challenges.
  • Elements of Manager 3.0: Modern approach to management – how to engage the team in decision-making processes and build a culture of co-responsibility.
  • Strategic Thinking: Tools and methods supporting strategic decision-making (e.g., SWOT analysis, Eisenhower matrix, 5 Why method).
  • Coaching and Mentoring Methods: Introduction to TOP (Theory of Practice) and TOC (Theory of Constraints) in working with goals, supporting individual and team development.

Developmental Outcomes:

  • Development of skills for conducting difficult conversations and providing negative feedback.
  • Practical knowledge on the application of strategic tools in daily work.
  • Ability to create conversation plans and support the team.

Delegation and Task Assignment

Objective: Learning effective delegation and task assignment from the team.

  • Lecture: Why it is important to delegate and how to do it well?
  • Practical Exercise: Creating clear and measurable goals for tasks.
  • Feedback: Receiving team work – appreciating and indicating areas for improvement.
  • Simulation: Delegation session and receiving results.

Module 3: Stress and Emotion Management

Objective: Developing skills to manage pressure and emotions in a leadership role.

  • Introduction: How does stress affect the leader and the team?
  • Exercise: Breathing and relaxation techniques for use at work.
  • Team Work: Recognizing emotions in the team and responding to crisis situations.
  • Simulation: Managing emotions during difficult conversations.

  • Increased awareness of the impact of stress on leaders and teams.
  • Mastery of relaxation techniques for use in daily work.
  • Development of skills in recognizing and responding to team emotions.

Module 4: Summary and Development

Objective: Consolidating acquired knowledge and developing individual development plans.

  • Exercise: Reflection on change – from colleague to leader.
  • Workshop: Creating a personal leader development plan.
  • Discussion: Future challenges – how to further build your competencies?
  • Delivering the Leader's Exposé: Presenting your vision, strategy, and plan for team development with a summary of activities during the training.
  • Closing Task: Preparing an inspiring message for the team.

Developmental Outcomes:

  • Ability to summarize previous actions and create a coherent vision for the team.
  • Development of an individual leader development plan.
  • Increased confidence in communicating the team's strategy and goals.
