Presentation Part (Ready-made screens and discussion of their functional structure in Storyline)

  • Example types of screens:
    • Content and graphics/guide screen,
    • Interactive screen (content available on click),
    • Popup screen,
    • Scenario screen,
    • Animation screen.
  • Exercises:
    • True/False test,
    • Single-choice test,
    • Multiple-choice test,
    • Drag-and-drop,
    • Select-many/hotspot.
  • Workshop Part
  • Player components:
    • Menu (position in the player, hiding and showing elements),
    • Navigation (back, next, submit buttons),
    • Logo, glossary, help, attachments,
    • Player personalization (color, language, instruction and tab content, additional elements, export and import of settings).
  • General course settings:
    • Screen size, standard fonts.
  • Course structure organization:
    • Module, screens, and test transitions, screen copying,
    • Use of slide master for screens and feedbacks,
    • Test question pool.
  • Publishing the training:
    • Publication settings (reporting results based on the number of displayed screens, test transitions, passing the test).

Workshop Part

  • Screen components:
    • Graphics, text, shapes, dialog cloud, video, sound, buttons, hot-spot,
    • Inserting, editing, replacing, format painter, properties panel,
    • Object states and their practical application (hiding and showing, active/inactive button, content change on click),
    • Action panel (types of actions, assigning them to objects, order, conditioning),
    • Layers (properties, editing settings, applying functionality (training game, popups, interactions)),
    • Timeline and animations.
  • Content proposals and exercises for the next workshop day:
  • Practical exercises:
    • Building screens with content, animation, interaction, scenario screens,
    • Building practice screens, number of attempts settings, mixing
    • responses, feedbacks,
    • Test module - configuration, editing, result screen, reporting results.

Requirements

Participants will receive instructional materials in the form of view files related to the presentation part and sample executable (.story) and graphic files for use and editing during the workshop portion.
