- Introduction – Where did DevOps come from? Why, and for whom is it necessary?
- Philosophy and core DevOps principles – The Three Ways, CALMS
- Key DevOps practices
- DevOps technologies – What is required to even talk about DevOps
- The DevOps Monument – Governance, risk, and compliance; automation; the 9 pillars of DevOps (leadership, culture, designing for DevOps; continuous integration, testing, monitoring, security, delivery; agile infrastructure)
Day 2
- Completing the DevOps Monument
- DevSecOps
- SRE
- AIOps
- Observability
- DevOps in relation to other approaches and frameworks – A brief overview of SAFe, ITIL, PRINCE2, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Human, cultural, and managerial aspects
- Team Topologies as a means to build effective communication systems between teams
The DevOps Monument is a working model I adopted to illustrate the concept to you, because like a monument, it has foundations, pillars, and a roof.
Additionally, there will be a brief overview of currently available popular and experimental (open-source) tools.
