This cross-functional training provides an introduction to SAP S/4HANA, demonstrating in a practical way how the system works, the SAP Fiori interface, and core processes in the key modules: FI, CO, MM, SD, QM, CS, and PS. Participants will understand the logic of master and transactional data, dependencies between modules, and the basics of reporting and analytics in S/4HANA.
SAP S/4HANA is today's central system supporting financial, logistical, sales, quality, service, and project processes within organizations. In practice, this means that users – regardless of their role – work with shared data and processes that span across multiple modules. Therefore, it is crucial to understand not just "where to click," but also: what happens to the data, how the system links processes, and what business impacts a specific transaction has.
The training is designed as a cross-sectional map of S/4HANA: starting from the basics of the system and navigation in SAP Fiori Launchpad, through data fundamentals (master data, transactions, configuration), to a review of processes in the modules:
- FI (Finance) – General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Assets,
- CO (Controlling) – Cost elements, Cost/Profit Centers, Internal Orders,
- MM (Materials Management) – Procurement, Master Data, Inventory Management,
- SD (Sales & Distribution) – Sales, Deliveries, Invoicing, Master Data,
- QM (Quality Management) – Quality planning and control, inspections, reporting,
- CS (Customer Service) – Service orders and contracts, data basics,
- PS (Project System) – Project structures, budgeting, execution, and monitoring.
The module Integration and Reporting brings everything together, showing participants how data flows between FI/CO/MM/SD/QM/CS/PS and how to use basic reports and Fiori analytics apps.
The outcome of the training is a coherent understanding of the system: participants begin to see SAP S/4HANA as a logical ecosystem of processes rather than a collection of separate modules.
