Problem and Solution (Path Philosophy)
Challenge
Most companies start automation by purchasing tools. Automating an unstructured process magnifies chaos. Teams waste time on:
- Manually transferring data between systems and tracking statuses in spreadsheets.
- Sending repetitive emails and reports.
- Dependence on bottlenecks (one person's absence paralyzes the process) and on the IT team for every minor change.
Order First, Tools Second
The path does not only teach software operation. It emphasizes a process-oriented approach: first identifying and organizing business logic, and then turning the diagram into a working, scalable low-code workflow in n8n.
Why n8n?
- Low barrier to entry: Building automation visually, without writing code.
- Security and control: The self-hosted installation option provides full control over data and prevents linear fee increases with scale.
- Flexibility and scalability: The workflow operates the same for 10 or 10,000 executions.
Target Audience (Who is this path for?)
The course is designed for teams beginner to automation who work daily with processes and data, but have no experience with low-code tools.
Target roles:
- Business and systems analysts
- Testers
- Project & Product Managers
- Operations and back-office teams
Prerequisites:
- No programming background required. Basic tech literacy and familiarity with your company's processes are all you need.
Program and Structure of the Course Path
Module 1: Business Process Design Fundamentals
- Role in the path: Foundation of the entire path.
- Goal: Teaching teams to identify, describe, and map business processes before automating them, as well as evaluating automation potential.
Module 2: Building Automation in n8n for Beginners
Duration: 2 days
Goal: Independently building and launching classic automations in n8n based on defined processes.
Course content:
- Introduction to n8n: architecture, concepts, capabilities.
- Workflow as an implementation of a business process.
- Working with elements: Trigger, node, connections, data flow.
- Integrations with popular tools (email, forms, CRM, spreadsheets).
- Data handling: transformations, conditions, loops.
- Error handling, exceptions, testing, and debugging.
- Basics of security, access control, introduction to self-hosting, and scaling.
Module 3: Advanced Automations with AI in n8n
Duration: 2 days
Goal: Extending classic automations with artificial intelligence components and AI agents to handle processes requiring analysis and decision-making.
Course content:
- The role of AI in business processes: differences between deterministic automation and AI-driven automation.
- Utilizing AI nodes (e.g., LLMs) in n8n and designing decision flows.
- AI agents concept: tasks, context, tools.
- Integrating AI with organizational data.
- Quality control, costs, and risk management related to AI implementation.
- Practical scenarios: email/ticket categorization, generating personalized proposals, document analysis, and reporting.
Business Results and Acquired Competencies
Upon completing the full Learning Path, the team achieves the following results:
- Conscious design: Ability to identify and describe processes and select the right type of automation (classic vs. AI).
- Implementation independence: Independently builds, tests, maintains, and expands automations in n8n without constant IT department involvement.
- Time savings and error reduction: Elimination of manual data re-entry and reduction of routine-driven errors.
- Scalability: Building stable system solutions that support organizational growth instead of one-off experiments.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Who is the n8n Learning Path intended for, and do I need to know how to code?
The course is designed for business analysts, testers, project managers, and operational (back-office) teams and requires no programming skills. Basic tech literacy and familiarity with your company's processes are sufficient, as working in n8n relies on a low barrier to entry (low-code) and visual automation building.
What exactly will I learn during each module of the n8n course?
You will gain comprehensive knowledge: from identifying and mapping business processes (Module 1), through independently creating classic automations, data transformation, and integrating CRM or email tools in n8n (Module 2), to deploying advanced artificial intelligence (AI) agents that make automated decisions (Module 3). You will understand the difference between deterministic automation and AI-driven solutions, learning optimization and error handling in both cases.
Why does the learning path start with business process design rather than tool usage?
The path begins with process analysis because automating an unstructured work environment only magnifies information chaos within the company. We teach teams the "order first, tools second" philosophy, which guarantees correct identification of business logic and allows it to be translated into a working, scalable workflow without creating bottlenecks.
What business benefits will my team gain from process automation in n8n?
Your team will gain complete implementation independence, allowing them to independently build and modify processes without constant IT department involvement. This directly translates into eliminating manual data re-entry, reducing human errors, and freeing up employee time for more strategic tasks.
Can I get funding for implementing the n8n and AI Learning Path in my company?
Yes, the organization of this specialized course for your team can be funded through support programs such as the National Training Fund (KFS), Development Services Database (BUR), or the Subject Financing System (PSF). Funding is an excellent way to implement a complete educational path for employees even with a limited corporate budget, and our specialists will assist in preparing the required applications.
