Oracle 11g is a version of Oracle's database that was released in 2007. Jest is a relational database management system that offers a wide range of features and tools for storing, managing and analyzing data. The "g" in the name stands for "grid computing" - an approach to managing IT resources. Oracle 11g offers a number of improvements over previous versions, including improved memory management, improved performance, additional security features, expanded language programming capabilities PL/SQL, and new administration tools. This version was widely used in many organizations before subsequent updates and releases of Oracle. However, it is worth noting that since the release of Oracle 11g, Oracle has released subsequent versions of its database management system, including 12c, 18c and 19c, with various improvements and new features.

Purpose of training

The workshop aims to provide mechanisms that occur in an Oracle database when performing SQL statements. Allows participants to avoid errors during software development, and explore, diagnose, and resolve performance problems in existing applications.
