SAP S/4HANA Essentials: FI, CO, MM, SD, QM, CS and PS

Overview

This comprehensive introductory course to SAP S/4HANA practically demonstrates the system's functionality, the SAP Fiori interface, and key processes in core modules: FI, CO, MM, SD, QM, CS, and PS. Participants will gain an understanding of master and transactional data logic, inter-module dependencies, and the fundamentals of reporting and analytics in S/4HANA.

Today, SAP S/4HANA is the central system supporting financial, logistical, sales, quality, service, and project processes in organizations. In practice, this means that users—regardless of their role—work with shared data and processes that span across multiple modules. Therefore, it is crucial to understand not only "where to click," but also: what happens to the data, how the system connects processes, and what business impact a specific transaction has.

The course is designed as a cross-functional map of S/4HANA: from system basics and navigation in the SAP Fiori Launchpad, through data fundamentals (master data, transactions, configuration), to an overview of processes in the following modules:

• FI (Finance) – General Ledger, liabilities, receivables, assets,
• CO (Controlling) – cost elements, cost/profit centers, internal orders,
• SD (Sales & Distribution) – sales, deliveries, billing, master data,
• QM (Quality Management) – quality planning and control, inspections, reporting,
• CS (Customer Service) – service orders and contracts, data basics,
• PS (Project System) – project structures, budgeting, execution, and monitoring.

The course concludes with the integration and reporting module, where participants will see how data flows between FI/CO/MM/SD/QM/CS/PS and how to use basic Fiori reports and analytical applications.

The outcome is a cohesive understanding of the system: participants begin to view SAP S/4HANA as a logical ecosystem of processes, rather than a collection of separate modules.
