This course is for students who are preparing for the CompTIA CySA+ certification exam CS0-002. The CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) certification verifies that successful candidates have the knowledge and skills required to leverage intelligence and threat detection techniques, analyze and interpret data, identify and address vulnerabilities, suggest preventative measures, and effectively respond to and recover from incidents.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Gain proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Identify and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities in operating systems and networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve computer software and hardware problems.
• Apply operational procedures for safety, documentation, communication, licensing, and change management.

This course is for students who are preparing to take the CompTIA Security+ certification exam SY0-701. This course is aimed towards IT professionals who install and configure systems to secure applications, networks, and devices; perform threat analysis and respond with appropriate mitigation techniques; participate in risk mitigation activities; and operate with an awareness of applicable policies, laws, and regulations.

Recommended experience:

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Understand the basic components of computing devices, including workstations and operating systems.
• Develop skills in using different data types and databases effectively.
• Gain familiarity with essential hardware components, device interfaces, and peripheral devices.
• Learn network and security concepts to ensure a safe computing environment.

CompTIA A+ is the preferred qualifying credential for technical support and IT operational roles. CompTIA A+ certified professionals are proven problem solvers. In order to receive the CompTIA A+ certification, you must pass two exams: Core 1 (220-1101) and Core 2 (220-1102)
