Apache Airflow
Training Description
Purpose and Topics
The Apache Airflow training introduces participants to ETL orchestration and workflow management in production environments. Participants will learn Airflow’s architecture, how to build and parameterize DAGs, use operators and sensors, and manage scheduling and system administration. Through hands-on exercises, attendees will gain the knowledge needed to effectively implement and maintain processes in Apache Airflow.
Training Objectives
- Understanding Apache Airflow architecture and preparing the working environment.
- Ability to build and parameterize DAGs.
- Learning core operators and how to use them.
- Using connections and sensors to handle processes.
- Task control: schedule, backfill, trigger rules, and conditions.
- Working with SQL in Airflow, installing providers, and defining connections.
- Parameterizing DAGs and variables using XCOM and Variables.
- Administration basics: managing accounts and access.
